          19973月,中國第一個中加雙高中文憑班(簡稱中加班)在北京人民大會堂宣告成立。20078月,江西省第一個中加班在南昌市第二中學宣告成立。

              南昌二中中加班經加拿大新斯科舍省教育部審核和江西省教育廳的嚴格審批,報中國教育部的備案,系江西省唯一通過加方認證掛牌的加拿大新斯科舍省教育部海外高中。學生入讀后,具有中國和加拿大雙重高中學籍。辦學八年來,該項目累計已有24位同學受到了加拿大新斯科舍省教育部的表彰,被授予杰出學生總督獎章、副總督獎和伊莉莎白獎章。有26人獲各類國際大賽一等獎,200多人次獲CCTV、星星火炬全國英語風采大賽特金獎、金獎、銀獎。在其它各類才藝大賽中,中加班學子也摘金奪銀,獲得了極好的社會聲譽。 

          Introduction 

          The first Sino-Canadian Dual High-School Diploma Program (Sino-Canadian Program for short) in China was established in Beijing on March, 1997; and the first Sino-Canadian Program in Jiangxi Province was founded in 2007 at Nanchang No. 2 High School.

          Nanchang No. 2 High School Sino-Canadian Program has been approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China after a strict examination from both the Nova Scotia Department of Education an the Ministry of Education of Jiangxi Province. Therefore, it is the only Sino-Canadian international program in Jiangxi that is officially recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Education. Students graduating from this program will receive both the Nova Scotia and Chinese High School Diplomas. Over the past 8 years since the program was first established, 24 of the best students in the program were awarded the Governor General Medal, the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal and the Queen Elizabeth Medal, three most prestigious academic awards for Canadian high school students issued by the Ministry of Education of Nova Scotia; 26 of them won first prizes in a wide range of international competitions and more than 200 of them received medals in the CCTV “Star & Torch” English Talent Show. The students’ outstanding achievements in both academic and extra-curricular performances have earned a great reputation for the program as well.

          一、項目特色 

          1、中加雙方共同管理,加方委派具有教師資格、經驗豐富的高中教師及外教主管來南昌二中,負責加方課程的施教與評價;南昌二中選派經驗豐富且英語能力良好的教師,負責中方教學與班級管理。

          2、中加班教學設備、設施均符合加拿大新斯科舍省教育部要求,如小班教室、專用圖書室、實驗室、電腦房等。

          3、加方教材與加國本土高中完全相同,中方課程則為學生量身定做,教材由老師自行選定或自行編寫。

          4、加方組織俱樂部活動,滿足學生的不同興趣、特長,為學生創造良好的課堂外英語應用環境。

          5、學業評價標準與西方接軌,學生除學習外,每年還需完成40小時的義工。 

          I. Program Features
          i. The teaching staff in the program consists of both Chinese and Canadian teachers. The Canadian part assigned well-qualified principle and high school teachers who are responsible for teaching and adjusting Canadian courses to meet the needs of the Chinese students studying at the program. As for the Chinese team, the school select teachers who are equipped with rich teaching experience to offer Chinese courses as head teachers for each class.
          ii. All the facilities meet the requirements of the Nova Scotia Department of Education in Canada, such as small classrooms, private library, science laboratories, computer labs and so on.
          iii. Textbooks used in Canadian courses are the ones currently being used in Canadian local high schools. Comparatively, Chinese courses are made-to-measure for students. Most of the teaching materials are meticulously selected or put together by the teachers themselves.
          iv. Canadian teachers would organize various club activities which cater for a wide range of interests and talents of students.
          v. Evaluation criterion is in accordance with the Canadian one. Apart from study, students need to spend at least 40 hours in volunteering work each year.

          三、在校人數 

          中加班辦學規模。人數從2007年初創時的38位學生發展到如今在校生共328位,近三年招生人數分別為85人、118人、155人。外教人數也由最初的3人發展為現在的15人。中方教師則一改過去肩挑兩頭的尷尬,2010年起實現了中加班教師專職化。辦學硬件條件也進一步得到了改善,教學用房由最初的2間教室發展為目前的科技樓2-4層,多媒體設施、英文原版閱覽室、理科實驗室等一應俱全。 

          III. Program Enrollments 

          The enrollment of Sino-Canadian Program has been expanded from 38 in 2007, when the program was first established, to 328 at the moment, with the number of 85, 118 and 155 in three grades respectively. The number of Canadian teachers also increases from 3 to 15. Chinese teachers, who used to teach both the main school students and the ones in our program, have now all become exclusively teachers for the program. What’s more, teaching facilities have improved considerably. While there used to be only 2 classrooms, now the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Tech Building are being used for teaching, with well-equipped multi-media rooms, English Learning Resource Center as well as science labs.

          四、生源質量

          中加班學生入學分數線呈現逐年改善趨勢,近三年來更是以每年10分的水平提升,2014年錄取分數線為480分。值得一提的是,越來越多中考高分段學生報讀中加班,已成為項目成熟的標志。中考試卷每年難易程度不一,近幾年中加班錄取最高分情況如下:2010年最高分為570分(王俊超),2011年為580分(廖鈺章),2012年為598分(廖雁宸),2013年為570分(劉瑋琪、程路),2014年為565分(陳佳昱),2015年為588分(許哲臨)。2014年,錄取的新生中考500分以上占65%;2015年,錄取的新生中考500分以上占91%。

          IV. Quality of Students 

          The admission requirements for the program have been increasing year by year, as the last few years witnessed the great progress the program has made along the way. The cutoff score in 2014 was 480. It is worth mentioning that the quality of the current students is increasingly better and the program continues invariably attracting students with even higher scores. The level of difficulty in Senior High School Entrance Examination varies, and the highest scores among the students enrolled during the past years are as follows:

          Wang Junchao entered our program in 2010 with the highest high school entrance exam score of 570, in 2011 Liao Yuzhang entered with 580, Liao Yanchen 598 in 2012, both Chen Lu and Liu Weiqi 570 in 2013, and Chen Jiayu has the highest of 565 this year. Among all the students enrolled this school year, those with a high school entrance exam score higher than 500 take up about 65%.

          五、出口情況 

          近四年,畢業生錄取海外知名大學情況如下:

          1、2012屆共有20名畢業生,3人最終選擇阿爾伯塔大學,2人最終選擇麥克瑪斯特大學。畢業生70%最終選擇加拿大博士類大學,100%錄取加拿大知名高校。

          2、2013屆共有71名畢業生,11人錄取多倫多大學,4人錄取麥吉爾大學,1人錄取皇后大學,11人錄取UBC大學。畢業生86%收到加拿大博士類大學錄取通知書,100%錄取加拿大知名高校。

          3、2014屆共有78名畢業生,共獲267份錄取通知書,畢業生100%錄取加拿大知名高校。其中,40%錄取世界排名第17位的多倫多大學,65%錄取全球排名100位前的大學(中國復旦大學世界排名以前)。 

          4、2015屆共有68名畢業生,共獲248份錄取通知書,畢業生100%錄取加拿大知名高校,92%收到加拿大博士類大學錄取通知書。其中,27錄取多倫多大學(占40%,10人錄取麥吉爾大學,25人錄取皇后大學,13人錄取UBC大學,47人錄取阿爾伯塔大學。 

          V. Graduate Destinations 

          In the recent three years, the students admitted to overseas university are as follows:

          Among the 20 students graduating from our program in 2012, 3 chose the University of Alberta, while 2 McMaster University. 70% of the graduates picked the doctoral universities and 100% of the graduates were admitted to Canada’s most prestigious universities.

          Among 71 students graduating from our program in 2013, 11 were accepted by the University of Toronto; 4 were offered the admission to McGill University; 1 was accepted by Queen’s University and 11 were admitted to University of British Columbia. 86% of graduates got the acceptance letters from Canadian doctoral universities and 100% of the graduates were admitted to the top universities in Canada.

          78 students graduated from our program in 2014, receiving 267 admission letters in total. 100% of the graduates were admitted to Canadian Universities.

          In addition, 30 students were admitted into University of Toronto; 10 students were accepted by McGill University; 8 students went to Queen’s University; 23 students the University of British Columbia and 37 students the University of Alberta.
